We interviewed Jenny Groth at Camfil Sweden AB about how they work with eBVD — and how they view the future.

Tell us about yourself and your role at Camfil

My name is Jenny Groth, and I work as a Product and Sustainability Coordinator at Camfil Sweden AB. In my role, I work with product-related sustainability information, including environmental data, material information, and compliance with regulatory requirements. I act as a link between our internal functions, factories, and external stakeholders to ensure that we provide transparent and quality-assured environmental information about our products.

How do you use eBVD?

We use eBVD as a tool to structure, quality-assure, and communicate environmental information about our products to customers and other stakeholders. The platform facilitates both the collection and updating of data while ensuring that the documentation is traceable and follows a standardized format. This makes it easier both internally and for our customers to access accurate and comparable information.

What role do you see eBVD having in the digital management of environmental information?

I see eBVD playing an important role as a shared and standardized platform for environmental information within the industry. As demands for transparency, circularity, and regulatory compliance continue to increase, digital systems that ensure consistency, reliability, and easy access are becoming increasingly important.

In the long term, eBVD could function as part of a central hub where environmental data from manufacturers is integrated with other systems, such as LCA databases, building certification schemes, and national or international regulatory frameworks. This would streamline information flows and reduce duplicated work, while also strengthening trust in environmental data through traceability and standardization.
