External clients and systems use information from eBVD to display and integrate data across different platforms.
BASTA
The BASTA system retrieves information via API from eBVD. If GTIN is entered as the identifier in both systems, the retrieval takes place automatically. It is also possible to enter the eBVD ID if GTIN is not used. Below is an example of how BASTA uses data from eBVD:
The system displays a number of fields from eBVD under the eBVD tab.
Under the criteria section, the product’s content list is displayed, retrieved from eBVD. There, you can quickly and easily see which substances are included in the product and identify which substance(s) are linked to the product’s BASTA rating, as well as the reason for the rating.
BASTA indicates whether the article meets various certification requirements, including through its integration with the eBVD system. Read more under Certifications.
