About us

eBVD was launched as a research project more than 20 years ago and is today jointly owned by IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and Construction Products Sweden.

For manufacturers and suppliers of construction materials

The eBVD tool is intended for manufacturers and suppliers of construction materials who wish to create an electronic building product declaration. The format for the declaration has been jointly developed by the industry and can be used to meet legal requirements, market demands, as well as certification and other requirement-setter criteria. eBVD i Norden AB is a non-profit company and one of several subsidiaries of IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute. Our sister companies include BASTA, CCBuild – The Center for Circular Building, BM (The Construction Sector Environmental Calculation Platform), Möbelfakta, and EPD International.
